Denali Climb
Denali, aka Mt. McKinley, is nestled up in Alaska in the Alaskan Range, and is often referred to as the coldest mountain on earth. Denali is also the highest mountain in North America, rising from sea level up to 20,320, however because of the latitude of the mountain (63 N) and the barometric pressure, the mountain feels as though it’s 22,000 feet. With a 50% success rate, Sean hopes to be in the ½ to summit.
This will be Sean’s last mountain, completing the 7-Summit Tour, and inspiring the world by topping out on the highest point on each continent. As a fundraiser, CancerClimber collected names to accompany Sean and the Expedition members to the summit on a flag to help support CancerClimber and other cancer-related organizations!
